something about orcs?
Today is positively dreary and so dark outside. I got up early (not too long after finally falling asleep, actually) and Julie picked me up and we went to Caribou. I learned lately that light roast coffee actually contains more caffeine than dark roasts, although dark roasts have a stronger flavor, and today i decided that that is true. I got a medium Fair Trade, which happened to be a light roast, and i drank less than half and then they filled it up for me before we left, and i finished the cup. So maybe 20 ounces altogether? Maybe a bit more. But anyway i am now very shaky and jittery and a few times had the "feeling" emotion-not-really kind of thing i get sometimes. So i drank some water and decided to make lunch even though i didn't feel hungry. We had chicken noodle soup and i ate a bagel with cream cheese, and i have jumped way ahead of my narrative of the day. Church was nice; i like going to the early service because there's so much more time to reflect and pray and worship than in the later service, which is rather more program-based. We invented our winter version of the lollipop gang, "the coat gang" which is not quite so creative sounding, is it? But we all have lovely coats, so that's why.
So i got home and put my PJs right on, the ones Tomomi gave me, and my new cute pink slippers!!!♥♥ And then i thought my camera was broken, but it worked after i put the memory card back in (there's a weird picture of the inside of Best Buy on the camera's own memory that was taken i think before i bought the camera, and i don't think i can delete it) and i took some poupee photos but after my coffee they're probably all super blurry from shaky hands. I'll have some tea i think but i'd better stay away from green and i don't feel like decaf black so i guess that leaves me with rooiboos....or perhaps some herbal tea gramma had in there. Yeah i'll have that. I remember when i was in middle school and first trying to drink tea, we had a number of boxes of celestial seasonings tea and there was one that was...something sunset and i really liked it but i've never seen it since then. Almond perhaps? I can vaguely recall the box...but only vaguely.
I started reading Anne of Green Gables the other night for the first time. Anne reminds me of Hannah a little, but much more talkative...and the copy of the book i have is very interesting. it has an intriguing inscription in the front (it's used) which makes it seem much cooler. It's only intriguing because i know (now) whose it was...so that's fun and pretend-mysterious.
Are Lucky Packs coming soon again? I wonder.
I had an interesting Lord of the Rings related illustration pop into my head during church, i'm going to go take a picture of my lotion and try to remember it.
