cars and slippers
What was lovely today? I got my car back. It's kind of nice to have it gone for a few days so that i can miss having one. It's fairly easy for me to get used to not having one, but the freedom to go anywhere, no matter how frivolous, is always a nice feeling when it's new again. So i went shopping and used a coupon i've been saving since August. $10 off underwear. And i got Gramma a pair of new slippers which she seemed to enjoy. The fluffy, blingy, pink ones were tempting, but i didn't think she'd get as much wear out of them so i just got some simple soft slip-ons.

yeahh, john piper. i'm pretty sure rob was referencing him when he said "the point is our joy, that is when God is most pleased."
just maybe. i'm starting to think that everything that seems so complicated really isn't...i always come back with simple answers. they're just usually hard answers.
