kibbles and bits kibbles and bits

I had to work so early; thankfully Emma came and picked me up. I stayed pretty busy and had to struggle against taking a nap after i got home.
I had tea with Gramma at the table and then got ready for youth group. It was snowing a lot and it took Julie and i quite a while to get there. Dinner was pizza, the Hot and Ready kind.
It was "Movie Night at the Blaze" and the movie was decided by a vote, and somehow Transformers won. Hannah and Brianna and i abandoned our cute couch in the front row and sat on the floor in the back. Soon Laura arrived in all her frilly glory.
Hannah and i (by unspoken mutual conspiracy) had also
lollipop
candy
fancy
girl'd it up
in honor of Laura's transpacific departure the next morning. Janna and Trisha's reactions were priceless and dramatic, and Kevin was... jealous?! ("i want one!")
The movie was distracting us from
BLING
-related business so we moved our meeting to locations unnamed, where we drew a picture i really ought to have taken a picture of, talked about Laura's trip and discussed "would you rathers."
Bri: "Would you rather: every time you kissed someone, they turned into a Japanese soldier who thought the war was still on, or..."
Laura: "YES!!"
We talked about some practical/kamikaze-related problems with that, as well as other options like being incessantly preoccupied with the whereabouts of the muffin man
, having a disorder where you always introduce yourself and other people in the voice and style of a pro-wrestling announcer, and being able to compose like Mozart but always having to wear tight designer jeans from the 70s.
Then suddenly everyone left me and the movie ended and the floor was unbelievably (or not) covered with popcorn and Julie had me drive again. It had stopped snowing by then but it had snowed quite a lot while we were there, so i ran out into the untouched snow of the parking lot and made a big heart shape.
And the bad aliens were defeated and the transformers from then on lived among the earthlings unseen but in plain sight and watched over them, and the soldier went home to his wife and baby and the awkward kid made out with the popular girl who lived in a trailer. The End.
