birthday poof

Today i decided to wear my Meta special set outfit. Bethany picked me up after she got off work and brought me a cute gerber daisy! And she got her pashmina.
We drove to Milford and met Mom at Tea-J's tea house. It's in an old Sears-Roebuck home, so we did some google research later to find out what that meant, as well as "pashmina." And digital television.
Many of the tables were set up for two; since there were three of us, we sat at a table for six. Some ladies sat down at one of the small tables behind us, and Mom kept turning around to talk to them because she felt like she was being rude with her back to them. They said i did not look 28. Then they asked what i did for a living.
I ordered the daily special, which included tomato basil soup, a sandwich of my choice, a pot of tea and dessert. Mom and Bethany both ordered the Tea-J's side salad (sort of a coleslaw that tasted something like that pineappley marshmallowy church potluck dish) and soup. Bethany got Bangkok tea, Mom got Tea-J's blend, and i got a green chai tea. I'd never had green chai before.
The soup was quite good but the best part of the meal was dessert!! It was chocolate cake and it was sooo "not dry" (haha i just realized Bethany probably said that earlier to avoid saying "moist") and yummmmmyyy!! Since it was my birthday, they gave me an ounce of loose tea to take home.

Bethany and Mom decided they wanted to take pictures of me/my clothes/the Harry Potter closet, so we did that although my camera is very temperamental and usually i'm the only person that can take non-blurry pictures with it (lots of poupee practice). We browsed the gift shop and as we left Bethany explained what the box next to the door was.
After tea we went back with Mom and looked at her paintings and visited for a while. Nicki called as we were leaving and wished me a happy birthday, and Tim said hi to my sister Beverley, and i thanked them for the amazon gift certificate

What shall i buy?Bethany dropped me off at Eric's where his mom was cooking white chicken chili! It's good to eat many soups in this cold weather, i think. And for dessert we had strawberries and tiny cheesecakes
